Preface:
Jogulamba Gadwal district geographic area consists of (12) Mandals with (255) Gram Panchayaths. Under DRDA-SERP activities we work with Self Help Groups and motivate them to improve their livelihoods and woman empowerment through Bank Linkage, Streenidhi, Vaddeleni Runalu and Sthreenidhi. Social Security pensions are being paid to all the categories viz., OAP, Disable, Toddy Toppers, FA Single Woman, Beedi Workers, Dialysis and HIV affected persons.

VI – Nonfarm (Enterprises):
In current financial year 2023-24 so far 311 Village Organizations have been covered under Nonfarm Livelihood Activity. The target is fixed as 3256 @ 6 per each Village Organization. So far 3344 New Enterprises have been identified and grounded.
VII – Marketing:
The Marketing Strategy of the Project is to enable the rural poor to identify all available possible livelihoods and tap the available resources i.e Forest produce, Agricultural Commodities and all traditional livelihoods practiced in the villages with an objective to increase incomes of the Pop families & improve the quality of life. Pass on remunerative prices to the small and marginal farmers and NTFP collectors at their door step.
In current Kariff season 2023-24, (49) paddy procurement centres have been established. In 2022-23 Khariff season 187000 Qtls of paddy collected from 2570 Small and Marginal Farmers. In Rabbi season 295113 Qtls of Paddy procured from 3584 Farmers.
VIII – Custom Hiring Center (CHC):
To generate the income source to Mandal Mahila Samakayas by using Agricultural Implements Government has released Rs.59,02,300/- out of which Mandal Samakya, Maldakal has covered 100% subsidy with Rs.25,00,000/- grant. In current financial year 2023-24 Five more CHC centers established at Gadwal,K.T.Doddi, Alampur, Dharur and Ieeja with worth Rs.34,02,300/-. In which Government subsidy portion is 25% remaining 75% is financed by bankers.
IX – Prim Minsiter Formalization of Micro Food Enterprises(PMFME):
In current financial year 54 units have been sanctioned under PMFME Scheme with Rs.140.00 Lakhs, out of 83 units target 45 units have been grounded so far. The Female entrepreneurs manufacturing quality products like chilli powder, Besan, ground nut, pickles and bakery items without adulteration and selling the products in near by market and generating the profits.
Under PMFME seed capital total 164 Members have been identified so far. Rs.65,60,000 budget proposal has been sent to SERP. Each beneficiary @Rs.40,000/- for existing food manufacturing units in the District. Budget is awaited.
X – Former Producer Company (FPC):
Under Agricultural Farm Livelihood Activity so far 55 FPC Groups have been formed and covered with 544 woman farmers. Share capital of Rs.4,98,000/- have been collected from the women farmers and the same equity grant of Rs.4,98,000/- received from the SERP.
In Khariff 2023-24 Season, 25.50 Qtls of Fax Tail Millets, Maize and Sweet Lemon have been procured. For Rabi Season 2022-23 so far Rs.12.50 Lakhs turnover achieved. Procurement of Red Chilly and Ground Nut is also under process.
