SAKHI ONE STOP CENTRE JOGULAMBA GADWAL DISTRICT
After the Nirbaya Incident for the protection of girls & women survivors of gender based violence under the Ministry of Women & Child welfare development sakhi one stop centres were established over in all states of India under Nirbhaya Fund, In our Telangana State OSC established in each 33 districts, in Jogulamba Gadwal District, Sakhi OSC was Established under women and child welfare department with the supporting agency IPWWA on 19th July 2019, which is located at opposite New Bus stand, near Sai Krupa Hospital, Gadwal.
The main objective of this Sakhi OSC is:
To provide Integrated 5 types of free services Medical aid, Counselling, Legal aid, Police assistance and Temporary shelter. Under one roof to the woman survivors of Gender Based Violence.
These sakhi centres integrated with women help line 181 toll-free number. Which works 24/7 for the women survivors of Gender based violence, women can approach sakhi centre at any time, sakhi OSC will support all women including girls below 18 years at the age in collaboration with other line departments.
