PANCHAYAT RAJ ENGINEER

The Panchayat Raj PIU Division, Gadwal is having 2 constituencies with 3 Sub-Divisions located at Gadwal, Manopad & Alampur to execute the developmental activities in the PR Dept.  The Division will execute all Rural works like, Road works sanctioned under PMGSY, NABARD,CRR, MRR, 13TH Finance etc. and Building works sanctioned in NABARD, MPP Buildings, CDP(Constituency Development Program), MPLAD(Member of Parliament legislative area development), SDF (Special Development Fund). Further, this division also execute MGNREGS works like GP Buildings, Mandal Samakya Buildings, Anganwadi Buildings, Agriculture Godowns and CC roads and the works entrusted by the Dist.Collector.

 The District profile of the roads as follows:-

           There are 492 roads in PIU Division Gadwal with the road length of 1727.339 km out of which C.C. roads length is 37.246 km, B.T. roads length is 464.917 km, WBM road length is 256.338 km and Gravel roads length is 465.206 km.

          There are 255 GPs and 50 Habitations. Out of 255, GPs which have BT connectivity are 206 and habitations which have BT connectivity are 31.

I.Roads

  • TSP (STSDF): Under this Programme Road works are being taken up. (6) Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.244.00 Lakhs under TSP (STSDF) grant vide G.O.Rt.No.336, dt.10.07.2017 & G.O Rt No. 341,Dt: 04.09.2018 of Tribal Welfare (Edn.Bud) Department. Out of this (3) Works completed and with an expenditure of Rs. 58.42 lakhs.
  • Construction of Rural Roas (2017-18):- Under this Programme Upgradation of Road works up to BT Standard are being taken up. Total (28) Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.3871.00 Lakhs for up gradation up to BT standard 9 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs.743.33 lakhs.
  • Construction of Rural Roads (2018-19):- Under this Programme Upgradation of Road works up to CD Works are being taken up. Total (10) Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.50.00 Lakhs for CD works and 10 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs.44.91 lakhs.
  • Pradanamantri Grameena Sadak Youjana (PMGSY): Under this Programme 2 works are sanctioned with an estimate cost of Rs.918.98Lakhs, 2 works is completed with an expenditure of 690.96 lakhs.
  • BRIDGES under NABARD RIDF XXI (SCP) : Under this Programme Bridge works are being taken up and 1 Work is sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.247.00 lakhs and this work is near completion.
  • SDF: Under this Programme Road works are being taken up. (44) Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.5561.38 Lakhs under SDF grant vide G.O.Rt.No. 816, dt.04.09.2018 of PR & RD (Progs-I) Dept., SDF 2018-19 District Collector Prodg.No 43/SDF/CMA/2018-19, Dt: 27.12.2018. Out of this (44) Works on Tender stage.
  • Maintenance of Rural Roads (MRR) 2014-15: Under this Programme maintenance of Road works are being taken up. (37) Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.2691.62 Lakhs under MRR grant vide G.O.Ms.No.20, dt.19.11.2014 of PR & RD (Progs-I) Dept., for renewal of BT for a length 191.59 Kms. Out of this (37) Works completed and 191.59 Km is achieved with an expenditure of Rs. 2405.99 lakhs.
  • Maintenance of Rural Roads (MRR) 2015-16: Under this Programme maintenance of Road works are being taken up. (39) Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.160.00 Lakhs under MRR grant vide G.O.Rt.No.300, dt.13.05.2015 of PR & RD (Progs-I) Dept., for maintenance of roads for a length 28.02 Kms. Out of this (34) Works completed  with an expenditure of Rs. 1385.15 lakhs.

II.Buildings

  • to MPP buildings: Under this Programme works are being taken up and 5 Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.365.00 lakhs. Out of these, 3 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs.113.19 lakhs.
  • NABARD RIDF XIX (Vet.buildings) : Under this Programme works are being taken up and 5 Works are sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.144.00 lakhs. Out of these, 4 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs.122.29 lakhs.
  • CDP grant: Under this Programme 471 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.1610.75 Lakhs. Out of these, 391 works completed with an expenditure of Rs.1125.67 lakhs.
  • MPLADS grant: Under this Programme 236 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.997.22 Lakhs. Out of these, 168 works completed with an expenditure of Rs.632.78 lakhs. 
  • SCDD grant: Under this Programme 22 works sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.79.50 Lakhs. Out of these, 18 works are completed. 
  • SSA (Re-Roofing) grant: Under this Programme 37 works sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.78.50 Lakhs. Out of these, 34 works are completed. 
  • CBF 2016-17 grant: Under this Programme 179 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.277.75 Lakhs. Out of these, 170 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs.222.84 lakhs. 
  • Compund Walls (Hospitals) : Under this Programme 2 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.57.50 Lakhs in CBF grant. Out of these, 2 works are Completed. 
  • CBF 2018-19 (Hospitals) : Under this Programme incomplete works in out patient ward work is sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.17.00 Lakhs in CBF grant. 
  • Toilets to Govrment Schools : Under this Programme 218 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.22.41 Lakhs in CBF 2017-18 grant. Out of these, 127 works are completed. 
  • CBF 2017-18 grant: Under this Programme 149 works sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.389.28 Lakhs in CBF 2017-18 grant. Out of these, 123 works are Completed. 
  • Fisheries Co.operative Socity Buildings: Under this Programme 8 works sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.80.00 Lakhs in Fisheries Development grant. Out of these, 5 work is completed with an expenditure of Rs. 56.43 lakhs. 
  • SDF grant: Under this Programme 19 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.95.00 Lakhs in SDF grant. Out of these, 19 works are Completed. 
  • Veterinary Animal Husbandry: Under this Programme 10 works sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.12.45 Lakhs in Veterinary Animal Husbandry grant. Out of these, 9 work is completed. 
  • Grampanchayath Buildings under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 67 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.1056.00 Lakhs. Out of these, 11 works are completed with an expenditure Rs. 279.28 lakhs. 
  • Mandal Mahila Samkya Buildings under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 9 works sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.260.00 Lakhs. Out of these, 8 works are completed with an expenditure Rs. 243.43 lakhs. 
  • Anganwadi Buildings under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 49 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.392.00 Lakhs. Out of these 18 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs. 199.15 lakhs. 
  • Agriculture Godown under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 1 work sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.40.00 Lakhs and it is Completed with an expenditure of Rs. 37.45 lakhs.
  • CC Roads (2016-17) under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 751 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.3508.90 Lakhs. Out of these, 641 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs. 2264.44 lakhs. 
  • CC Roads (2017-18) under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 29 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.126.00 Lakhs. Out of these, 24 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs. 79.70 lakhs. 
  • CC Roads (2017-18) New under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 1094 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.4992.68 Lakhs. Out of these, 928 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs. 3394.19 lakhs. 
  • CC Roads (2018-19) under MGNREGS grant: Under this Programme 229 works are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.1539.50 Lakhs. Out of these, 89 works are completed with an expenditure of Rs. 542.15 lakhs. 
  • 2BHK Grant: Under this Programme 2800 houses are sanctioned with an Est.cost of Rs.14284.00 Lakhs. Out of these, 45 houses are under progress in Kyathur and Gonpadu Villages, 468 houses are under progress in Gadwal (Urban) and 92 houses are in tender process.
